DT Department - KS3 Resources

In years 7 and 8 modules are either 12 or 19 weeks in length.  In Year 9 modules are shorter and follow closely the GCSE options available.  All modules follow a similar format with resource tasks being undertaken to allow pupils to gain knowledge and skills that are then used in a ‘design and make’ capability task.  It is hoped that all students will have the same opportunities and experiences throughout Key Stage 3 in order to give them balance of knowledge and skills in preparation for Key Stage 4 courses.
