Culverhay School Enrichment Programme

From September 2005, every pupil in the school has undertaken an ‘Enrichment Programme’ which runs every Wednesday during term time. The one hour long sessions are run by tutors from external organisations and change every term, thus each activity lasts between 6 and 7 weeks. 

Your son will be taking part in a number of relevant, beneficial activities, a number of which are listed below:

• First Aid Training   
• Drama Workshop
• Music
• Arts and Crafts
• Air Cadet Training
• Master Chef
• Inter House Sports
• Bath University Water Based Activity
• Primary School Placement

On the rare occasion that your son is asked to leave a session due to poor behaviour then the school discipline procedures will come in to place and the pupils will receive a C4 Internal Suspension. On the day following the incident your son will be supervised and kept after school for a one hour detention. If the poor behaviour continues further action may be taken with the chance of him being withdrawn from all future activities. 

On the first day back after the school holiday your son will be asked which option they would like to do as an activity for the term, or in the case of the ATC or Masterchef the year.
