Culverhay School ICT Department

Culverhay School is a Mathematics and Computing Specialist School and we believe that we as the ICT department are leading the way in teaching ICT and using it to raise pupil standards across the board.

We have a small, but tightly knit ICT team who have just one goal - To let the pupils here at Culverhay School get the best out of everything we have!

• Passing their exams with a grade worthy of their ability (KS3 SATs, GNVQs, Nationals or GCE A Levels)
  
• Developing their skills (Using software and repairing hardware)
  
• Learning new skills in areas outside the main curriculum requirements (Flash Animations, Video & Music Editing, Lego Robotics Competitions, International Links)
  
• Gaining Industry-standard qualifications through the Microsoft IT Academy Programme
  
• Letting off some steam out of lesson times with some free time surfing and gaming
  
• Continuing the learning and fun with a series of Holiday Clubs for the local community
