What is the Library/Resource Centre for?
This is the place to come to do homework, borrow/return a book, read for pleasure, catch up on coursework or find out more about your favourite hobby or sport.

What facilities does Culverhay Learning/Resource Centre have?
There are newspapers, magazines, dictionaries, encyclopaedias, over 6,000 books, 17 computer work stations and comfortable seating areas.

When can I use the Library/Resource Centre?
You may come at lunchtimes, before or after school. During lesson times you may come with your teacher or s/he may send you in small groups.

How many books can I borrow?
You can borrow 2 books for up to 2 weeks. Your book will be stamped with the date by which it should be brought back. If you need a book longer then you must renew it.

What if I forget to return an item?
Reminders will be sent to your form tutor. If your book is more than 6 weeks overdue a letter will be sent home. There is no fine system but we expect items to be returned promptly.

What if I loose an item?
If you loose or damage a book your parent/carer will be asked for a contribution towards the cost of replacement.
