Music is an important part of daily life, from simple nursery rhymes to large complex orchestral works or the design of some contemporary music. Music gives scope for expression, encourages feelings of responsibility and unity, develops manual co-ordination and inspires self discipline in a medium that involves non verbal communication. It is an international language and, therefore, has a unique and important place in the school.
